Jeremy Dumas, - MD - Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Jeremy Dumas, Jefferson Community Health Care’s Chief Medical Officer, completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana and earned his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He later completed his residency at Tulane University Hospital. Dr. Dumas is an Internal Medicine physician with a specialty in Pediatrics. Dr. Dumas was the first physician to come aboard at the opening of the clinics in 2004 and he continues to work full-time at the Avondale facility.

Neil Wolfson - Staff Physician, GYN
Dr. Wolfson received a Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of New Orleans and his Medical Degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Wolfson completed his internship and residency at the Louisiana State University in the Charity Hospital System. Dr. Wolfson is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist, as well as the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Wolfson is currently working at the Avondale location as a part time staff OB/GYN.

David Curole, MD - Staff Physician, GYN
Dr. David Curole received his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of New Orleans. He later earned his Medical degree, completed internship and residency at Louisiana State University Medical School.
Dr. Curole holds a certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. He currently has a private practice at Tulane-Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, LA and he also works as a part-time physician at the Avondale facility.

Bharathi Pandit, MD - Staff Physician
Dr. Bharthi Pandit completed her undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery from Tulane University. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Mysore in Karnataka, India, and then completed her residency at Tulane University. She also holds a Masters Degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, both from Tulane University. Dr. Pandit completed a 23 year tenure at Charity Hospital of New Orleans until the demise of the hospital after Hurricane Katrina. She is currently working at the Avondale facility as a Family Medicine physician.

Henry Langhette, OD - Optometrist
Dr. Henry Langhetee completed his Bachelors degree in Zoology and Physiology at Louisiana State University. He later received a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham
(School of Optometry). Dr. Langhetee has worked at the Avondale facility since 2004.

Genelle S. Price, MD - Staff Physician
Dr. Genelle Price completed her undregraduate coursework in Biology at Xavier University of Louisiana. She earned her Medical Degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta Georgia and completed Her intership and residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center. Dr. Price worked in private practice for several years. In the fall of 2005 Dr. Price joined the medical team at Jefferson Community Health Care and she is currently practicing at the Marrero Facility as an Internal Medicine physician.

Jaya S. Warrier - Staff Physician
Dr. Jaya Warrier received her Medical Degree from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalare, India. She completed her residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan. Dr. Warrier is a General Practitioner who has worked in the New Orleans area for several years. She devoted most of those years to the Medical Centers of Louisiana (Charity Hospital). Dr. Warrier joined the staff in 2006 and she is currently working full-time at the Marrero location.

Leon Watkins - Podiatrist
- Dr. Watkins received his medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and completed his surgical residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. He is director of the Podiatric Surgical Residency Programs at both Tulane-Lakeside Hospital in Metairie and Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in forefoot and rear foot reconstructive ankle surgery. He is also board certified in wound care. Dr. Watkins treats all foot conditions but his special interests include diabetic foot care and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. With over fifteen years experience Dr. Watkins makes excellence in care a priority as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
